Changing Tides – Nature’s Valley
It used to be on top of one of the rocks to the right of where the image was taken, some good 10 meters away. The reason for casting a cement block on the rocks is probably long forgotten but, there amongst the sharply pointed rocks, it offered a comfortable seat for countless fishermen over the years.
This image is available as an unmounted photographic print or as a Diasec (acrylic) print.
Diasec Prints: Acrylic glass, also known as Perspex offers a superior, high gloss finish to this work of art. This framing method is very stylish and perfect for the home or office.
This framing method involves that the picture gets printed and is then face-mounted to the acrylic, using a specialised process. This gives a borderless image and eliminates the need for traditional framing. The acrylic photograph gets a three-dimensional appearance and this mounting method also enhances the optical clarity of the photograph. (Read more about Acrylic and Diasec printing)
The end result is a lightweight, highly protected work of art that is ready to hang the moment you receive it. The acrylic print has a sub-frame on the back which lets the print “float” 25mm from the wall.
Should you wish to, the acrylic print can also be framed using conventional framing methods-just take it to your preferred framing shop.
Unmounted Prints: The unmounted print is perfect if you need to travel with it or if you’d like to frame it at your local framing shop using your own custom framing method.
The picture is printed on glossy paper with an additional white border to facilitate the framing process. In order to ensure your long-term enjoyment of this work of art, kindly ask your framing shop to use Archival framing when you get it framed.
